"While initially the office was great and gave me the coverage I was looking for I felt that there was some deception with the billing and this made me change offices. I have been with state farm for a long time and have always done the half and half payment rather than doing monthly billing or paying for the bill up front. They told me they were able to do the half and half payment rather than monthly. They switched me over and I paid half of the insurance and then noticed I had a bill for the remaining that was due the following month. I called and asked why and they said it was because I was new to their office and since I was new I can't do the half and half this time but would have to pay the remaining policy. This was frustrating because it wasn't fully discussed and nor did I want to pay $900 up front like this. While Cassie in their office is nice I feel that she did not fully explain this in the beginning when I made it clear what I wanted. Cassie stated it was a statefarm policy all around and when I called other places it was confirmed it wasn't. This led me to calling another office and switching over because I'd rather not work with an office who will not work with their clients on what was initially promised."

"Natasha, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the miscommunication during the initial writing of your policy. I understand how important it was for you to maintain the same billing practice you had in Arizona, where you paid half at a time. Typically, we are able to accommodate that same process here in Washington. However, we now realize that when there is a state-to-state transfer, it is treated as new business under State Farm’s guidelines. In these cases, the system requires the second half of the six-month premium to be due within 30 days of the initial payment. After the first six-month policy period, we are able to revert to the normal billing process you’re familiar with. I truly wish we could have handled this differently, but unfortunately, we must operate within the parameters that the system allows. I apologize that this was not clearly communicated upfront, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can improve how we explain these situations moving forward. Cassie and the rest of our team strive to deliver the best possible service to every client, and I’m disappointed that we fell short in this case. While we’re sorry to see you go, we respect your decision to work with another office and wish you well with your new agent. If there’s ever anything we can do to assist you in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your feedback—it will help us improve and better serve our clients. "

"My daughter and I met with Gerald a month ago and was pleased with how he helped us get State Farm coverage on my house and our cars. We were with Allstate prior and they were more expensive and never called us to see how things were going. So far I’m very happy with State Farm and Gerald."
